Membership

Attend a Meeting or Event:

  • Many Kiwanis clubs hold regular meetings or events where prospective members are welcome to attend as guests. This is an opportunity to learn more about the club's activities and meet current members.

Learn About Kiwanis:

  • Take the time to understand Kiwanis International's mission, values, and the impact it makes in your community and globally. This will help you align your interests with the organization's goals.

Complete the Application:

  • If you decide to join a Kiwanis club, you will need to complete a membership application. This application may require you to provide some personal information and agree to adhere to Kiwanis' values and policies.

Membership Requirements:

  • Attend a Monthly Meeting- The Superstitions hold two monthly meetings on the first and third Monday of the month (summer meetings are less frequent due to membership travel) at Apache Wells Country Club 5601 E Hermosa Vista Dr, Mesa, AZ 85215 at 6:00 PM. Dinner is provided for $10 from a set menu. In addition, to dinner and club business The Superstitions collect “Happy Bucks” and participate in a 50/50 raffle at each meeting for fundraising. “Happy Bucks” is a tradition in which members donate a denomination of their choice and share a grateful sentiment with the group

  • Dues- Annual dues are $82.00 and are paid by The Superstitions club as long as you participate in three service projects per year. 

  • Help participate in fundraising events

  • As a Kiwanis member, you'll have the opportunity to participate in various service projects, fundraisers, and community activities. Active involvement is key to making a meaningful contribution.

Attend Conventions and Conferences:

  • Kiwanis International hosts conventions and conferences where members from different clubs come together to share ideas, learn, and celebrate their collective achievements.

Leadership Opportunities:

  • Kiwanis clubs often offer leadership positions within the club, such as president, secretary, treasurer, or committee chairs. Serving in leadership roles is a great way to contribute to the club's success.

  • Kiwanis members are committed to the principle of "Serving the Children of the World." Be prepared to dedicate your time and efforts to projects and activities that benefit children and communities.
